TERMS & CONDITONS OF USE FOR HI-TALENT
Acceptance of Terms:
By using Hi-Talent (hereinafter referred to as “the Platform”), you agree to these terms and conditions of use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.
Use of the Platform:
a. Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old or younger with the accompaniment of your legal guardian and have the right to enter into binding contracts to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these criteria.
b. User Account: You must create a user account to access certain features of the Platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and all activities that occur under your account.
c. Permitted Use: You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms of Use. You agree not to use the Platform in a manner that may harm other users, infringe intellectual property rights, violate applicable laws or regulations, or disrupt the operation of the Platform.
d. User Generated Content: You may submit content such as your profile, resume or other information via the Platform. By submitting content, you grant Hi-Talent a worldwide, non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute and display such content in connection with the provision of the Platform services.
Hi-Talent's Responsibilities:
a. Operation of the Platform: Hi-Talent strives to maintain the availability and functionality of the Platform. However, we do not guarantee that the Platform will be free of errors, bugs or interruptions, and we are not responsible for technical problems beyond our control.
b. Verification of Information: Hi-Talent does not systematically verify the accuracy of information provided by users on the Platform, including profiles and job postings. We encourage users to perform their own due diligence before making decisions based on such information.
c. External Links: The Platform may contain links to external websites or resources. Hi-Talent assumes no responsibility for the content, accuracy or availability of these external sites. Use of these links is at your own risk.
Intellectual Property:
a. Hi-Talent’s Rights:
All intellectual property rights related to the Platform, including trademarks, logos, text, graphics, images, and functionality, are the exclusive property of Hi-Talent or its licensors. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute these materials without prior written permission from Hi-Talent.
b. Use of Content:
You agree not to use content posted on the Platform by other users for any purpose other than as permitted by these Terms of Use. You acknowledge that user-generated content is the property of those users, and you may not copy, modify, distribute or use it in any way without their prior consent.
Limitation of Liability:
a. Disclaimer of Warranties: Hi-Talent makes no representations or warranties as to the accuracy, completeness or reliability of the content published on the Platform. Your use of the Platform is at your own risk.
b. Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Hi-Talent and its officers, employees, agents and representatives shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Platform.
Modification of Terms:
Hi-Talent reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on the Platform and will be effective immediately upon posting. It is your responsibility to regularly review the Terms and Conditions of Use for any updates.
Termination:
Hi-Talent reserves the right to terminate your access to the Platform at any time, without notice or liability, for violation of these Terms and Conditions of Use or inappropriate behavior on the Platform.
General Provisions:
a. Entire Agreement: These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between you and Hi-Talent regarding your use of the Platform, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements between the parties.
b. Governing Law: These terms and conditions of use are governed by the laws in force in the Belgian jurisdiction. Any dispute arising out of these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
By using Hi-Talent Job Board, you confirm that you have read, understand and agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.
Control of Published Content:Control of Published Content:
a. Right to Publish: As a user of Hi-Talent Job Board, you retain the sole right to decide what content you wish to publish on the Platform. You are entirely responsible for the content you choose to publish, including your profile information, resume details and any other information you submit.
b. Moderation of Content: Hi-Talent may, at its discretion, moderate content posted on the Platform to ensure that it complies with these Terms of Use. However, Hi-Talent cannot guarantee comprehensive review of all content posted and will not be responsible for any inappropriate, defamatory, illegal or offensive content that may be posted by users.
c. Content Reporting: If you identify any content that is inappropriate or in violation of these Terms of Use, please report it to us immediately so that we may take appropriate action.
We encourage users to exercise good judgment and ethical behavior when posting content on the platform, taking care not to violate the rights of others or to post misleading or illegal information.

Non-Refundable Service:
a. Nature of Service: Hi-Talent Job Board provides a service to connect young talent with companies via a digital platform. Due to the intangible nature of this service, we generally do not offer refunds for ads posted on our platform.
b. Variable Results: The success of an ad and the match with a suitable candidate depends on many factors, including the qualifications required, the availability of candidates and the specific needs of companies. Therefore, we cannot guarantee specific results or offer refunds if an ad does not result in a successful hire.
User Responsibility:
a. Verification and Compliance: Users are responsible for verifying the details of the ad, including requirements, selection criteria and information provided before posting an ad on the platform. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that the information is accurate and complies with legal and ethical requirements.
b. Financial Commitment: By posting an ad on Hi-Talent Job Board, the user agrees to pay the fees associated with that ad, regardless of the results obtained. Publication fees are not refundable once the ad is published.
User Responsibility:
a. Billing Error: In the event of a billing error, please contact us immediately to resolve the issue. We will investigate any billing error request and refund the incorrectly billed fee, if applicable.
b. Service Interruption: In the event that Hi-Talent Job Board is unavailable or inaccessible for an extended period of time, we may consider, at our discretion, refunds or compensation. These situations will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Policy Changes:
We reserve the right to change this refund policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our site and will be effective immediately upon posting. We encourage you to review this policy regularly for any updates.
